-Face Care Routine-

Let’s start off with the type of Skin I have; dry and scaly skin. Luckily I’m not acne prone and my skin doesn’t react to any products (let’s hope it stays like that).

My skincare routine starts at night. I don’t have time in the morning to exfoliate, etc. After a hard days of work and having make-up on my face all day I treat my skin to a pamper (daily).

First I start off with my homemade lip scrub, get all of that dead skin off my lips.

I then move on to my face. I use Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash and you literally get ‘softer skin from day 1’. I have tried other exfoliating washes but in my opinion nothing beats this! I rinse my face with warm water, while its wet I massage the face wash onto my face with my hands then I use the loofah to help activate the micro-beads to unblock those pores and get rid of the dead skin.

Following from that I rinse off the face wash, grab a bit of cotton wool and pour some of The Body Shop Freshening Water (Cucumber). I rub the toner on my face and almost instantly your skin feels fresher then just washing it! The toner helps even out your skin tones and gets rid of excess make-up that your face wash missed.

Finally my life saver! I would literally be as scaly as a snake if it wasn’t for Aveeno. I can’t emphasis how great this is! I use this all over my body and as face cream. Before I discovered Aveeno nothing used to work for me, oil used to dry out, doctors prescribed me E45 that was useless. I’m so glad I discover Aveeno. If you haven’t already tried it, I would definately recommend it!

Once a week I use The Body Shop Shea Body Scrub to exfoliate my face, although it’s advised not to on the packaging, this keeps my face really nice and smooth removing all the dead skin cells. I apply it on my face using the tip of my fingers, massaging it in a circular motion.
