Amazon is an International E-commerce brand which recently announced that they will be hiring 50,000 employees in India.

These 50,000 amazon jobs are not for the long term and would be available for a short period to meet the increased demand at the delivery and fulfillment centers. It is also expected that most part-time work independent vendors will get to work with the company.

Amazon has stated that “ The associates will join other thousands of associates across Amazon India's fulfillment and delivery network and assist them to pick, pack, ship, and delivery customers' orders more efficiently."

Since lockdown has eased the delivery part which has increased the demand for the products and services delivered right at the home because people are still staying inside their house and do not want to come out and buy things also the malls are closed due to which there is a sudden surge in the demand.

To meet the demand of the customer Amazon has decided to hire 50000 employees by making changes in their processes it would also ensure the safety of Amazon employees.

To keep employees safe from coronavirus and all Amazon fulfillment centers would check temperatures of the employees and regular sanitization of the place would be regularly done.
