The Ouija board

Tags: glass letter mary

I pushed the doorbell to Mary’s house, while my thoughts ran through the possible surprises that she had in store in for me.

The door opened and displayed the acne marked girl, who was hurriedly ushered me into the house.

“What is this surprise that you told me about?” I questioned as I took off my sneakers.

“You will never believe what I found in my attic!” Said Mary as her red pockmarked dress brought my desires to the surface.

“What?” I questioned as my eyes drifted to her clevage.

“An Ouija board. I always wanted to try one out. Maybe we can talk to the other side” said Mary as she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the open door, which lead to basement.

I reluctantly followed her down the dimly lit staircase, which led to a grimy basement that had dank smell to it. I sat down in front of a round table that had a board with all the letters of the alphabet and a round Glass piece on top and a bright yellow light-bulb above it. This is not how I expected this night to go. Maybe things will change after we play this stupid game.

She pulled the chair forward. Her legs were underneath the table and she her eyes gleamed in excitement.

“Let me try spelling out the words hello first” she said as started to the move the glass piece over each specific letter.

After she moved the glass piece over the letters the thick air was filled with anticipation. After a few minutes, I had enough.

“That’s it” I said as I started to get out my chair. “Why don’t we go to your room?”
After words came out of my mouth, the glass piece slide across the board to the letter “D”.

“Oh my god, did you see that” Mary said.

“Yes” I said slightly taken aback but still skeptical.

The glass piece started to move speedily and stop for a few seconds at the letters, E, V, I, L. The word DEVIL was spelled out.

“Where are the magnets?” I said with a giggle as I tried to bring down her
preposterous attempt at tomfoolery.

“I am not doing anything” said Mary with her brown eyes wide open.

She is acting well. The light bulb flickered, as sparks were sent into the air.

Mary’s chair flew back into the shadowy area away from the lightbulb. A scream rang out through the room as I saw a hand with a blood, red heart appear out of the shadows.

This is an awesome prank I said as I got out of my seat. How did you find such a realistic heart?

The banshee like scream rang through the basement as a red horned being burst towards me. I stood my ground as I burst out into laughter.

“Did you buy that from the thrift store?” I said I stared at the person who was clearly in a demon costume, which had black pockmarks on red skin and black horns.

“Where are the cameras? You got me.”

“Are you not scared of me?” Said the costumed man. “I come from the depths of hell.”

I have seen worse on YouTube” I said as I tapped one pointed red horn. “Plus, don’t they give you breath mints in hell, you breath reeks. “

As I saw the costumed man’s clawed fingers pierce me, I uttered my last words.

“Best prank ever!”
