Hey everyone! As most of you know I love playing League of Legends and I have another post already which has many tips and tricks surrounding the game. Here is a greater list (included points from the other post) which has all the tips I give to new players when they start out.

1. The most important thing is the nexus, everything else can wait.
2. Never be holding onto a ward, it needs to go somewhere, preferably a bush.
3. People will always run home (back to their base) when escaping. If you’re being chased, run to the enemy base, they expect it least, you have a chance of execution or escape, and it drags them away from your base making it take longer to get back into the game after chasing you.
4. Don’t play champions that require specific rune pages. There is a generic page for ADC, Tank, Jungle, Support, AP Jungle, AD Jungle, Assassin.
5. Never experiment against humans, they can occasionally be smarter than bots.
6. Don’t jump into a PVP game with a brand new champion. Unless you want to lose, educate yourself first.
7. If the champion doesn’t suit your playstyle, don’t play them just cause you think they’re cool.
8. Be capable of playing every role in the game, you’ll have to play it eventually.
9. Never wander within Fog of War. Entrance points need to be warded and you need to always search for the easiest escape route – no escape – don’t go!
10. Keep timers. Watch timers. Count timers. Count ultimate abilities. This game is all about time.
11. Don’t give up free objectives. Dragon’s that aren’t warded up to 25 minutes are asking to be taken. Once bot lane is eliminated, it can be taken. But the tower should remain first priority in this instance.
12. Don’t be toxic, harassment gets you nowhere and makes your teammates perform worse.
13. Farm properly. Don’t die trying to cs. That last bit of farm is not worth dying for.
14. Don’t rely on unreliable teammates.
15. Send back junglers trying to gank below 30% HP.
16. When chasing enemies with no mana, only chase for up to 8 seconds. Leave afterwards. Mid laners take approximately 8 seconds to come from mid lane to assist.
17. When laning phase is over, never walk around solo, keep to a partner when possible and keep pushing lanes.
18. It is not ONLY the supports job to ward.
19. Never trade kills unless there’s no way out. Kill’s don’t win games. The less kills/assists that are given to the enemy team, the better.
20. Learn from mistakes.
21. Know your true damage. Especially from smite.
22. The only people who call the shots are adc and jungler. All the rest are morons.
23. The new Ping system is amazing. Use your pings wisely. It is best to signal your lane missing and if you believe you know which direction your enemy laner is going, ping a warning sign to that lane, it might make them more aware to back away.
24. Don’t fall for chat. People will try to make you frustrated. The mute button is way underrated. Use it.
25. Champions with hooks are easily countered. Keep your distance, side step quickly and stay behind your minions.
26. Minions can with the game without you. If a minion knows how to win a game, I suggest doing as the minions do, help them push.
