Love Tropical Vacations? Here is Where You Need to Go

The following post is a guest post by Roxana, an adventure-loving traveler from Sydney.

Summer is knocking on our doors, and the only question we should ask is: where to go to actually feel all the benefits of this amazing season? Well, there is no summer-loving destination as some Tropical paradise. Luckily, this world does not lack in such treasures, on the contrary, the wide array of amazing tropical destinations is making choosing much more difficult than it seems. Do not worry, we are here to help. We have made a list of five amazing and unique destinations you can choose from.

Maldives

The fascinating underwater world, dazzling white-sand Beaches, luminous cyan-blue water and unparalleled luxury make the Maldives the ideal choice for a holiday of a lifetime. This tiny and remote Indian Ocean paradise attract millions of tourists a year, because of its unique appeal and more than 100 world class resorts. Other than resorts, Maldives has finally opened up to independent travelers by offering private accommodations. This brings joy to many diving and snorkeling enthusiasts and professionals because missing out on the rich marine life and the “sunken garden” of Maldives would be a true shame.

New Caledonia

Unique for its nature and culture, New Caledonia offers a one-of-a-kind experience of enjoying the tropical Melanesian culture, joined together with the irresistible charm of France. Unlike the previous mention, the archipelago is not home to so many resorts, and that is its greatest appeal. Although it does offer some luxury accommodations, it is simultaneously a true tropical escape. Many of the New Caledonia packages include the paradise-like Isle of Pines, where tourist can enjoy the lush tropical vegetation and sublime beaches, but all the other islands and islets of the archipelago are equally amazing.

British Virgin Islands

Moving on from France to Great Britain, but it is hardly anything reminiscent to Her Majesty’s Land. With more than 50 islands, this archipelago is known for its calm waters, steady winds and protected bays, which makes it ideal for spending a nice tropical vacation. One of the greatest locations for swimming and snorkeling is the Sandy Cay – a small natural preserve with crystal clear water and protected animal species (e.g. leatherback turtles). Another authentic Caribbean experience can be found on Peter Island.

Mexico

Far from the noise and crowd of the Mexico City, this land is rich with scenic palm-fringed beaches perfect for a tropical escape. This land rich in history and diverse in cultures offers different experiences for different visitors, but if your goal is to enjoy the gorgeous beaches and blue waters, you should head for Playa del Carmen near Cancun, Costa Allegre, Puerto Vallarta, the famous Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, and Mazatlan. If you are searching for a prime snorkeling destination, look no further than Cozumel. For the ones who one to simultaneously experience both the history and the exoticness of Mexico, the ideal choice is Tulum, near the old Mayan Temple.

The Bahamas

There can be no talk about tropical escapes without mentioning the alluring Bahamas. Screaming adventure and relax in one single voice, Bahamas are famous for its rebel history (pirates in the capital of Nassau) and unique beaches – yes, we are referring to pink-sand beaches in Eleuthera. With around 700 islands, it is no wonder the Bahamas have some of the most fabulous beaches in the world. While some of them are inhabited with five-star luxury resorts, others are home to nothing more than soft powdery white sand and animals. Some secluded beaches on Crooked, Andros and Acklins do not even have an official name, so you can actually name one and make it your own, at least during your vacation time.

You cannot go wrong with these destinations because each has its unique appeal and you can choose according to your preferences. Now pack your bags and go explore a tropical paradise.
