When You Have Cool Professors: SLU Teachers Organizes 1st Competitive Video Games

School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS) professors in Saint Louis University, Philippines, are organizing a video game competition event. The games will be Defense Of The Ancients 2 (DOTA 2) and League Of Legends (LOL), top Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) or Action Real-Time Strategy (ARTS) games played online. In partnership with no one, the event will only be broadcasted in S422 hallway. See details below:

What: Breaking Boundaries: 1st SLU League of Legends (LOL) & Defense of the Ancients 2 (DOTA 2) Open Competition
When: November 29, 2014 (Finals)
Where: SLU
Watch: Live Stream at S422 Hallway

Organizers were overwhelmed with teams wanting to join, so they made their decisions to close the registration today at 5:00 PM and to only select 16 teams per game.

The selected or approved teams will be posted on Wednesday, November 26, with their match schedules.

There will be no prizes in this event, just bragging rights.
