I just returned from a trip to a chic Lake Como resort Casta Diva. Casta Diva must is a rather lavish 18th-century villa resort with breathtaking views of Lake Como. The centre of the resort is Roccabruna Villa famous for being a former home of the opera singer Giuditta Pasta. Rumour has it that this is where the famous composer Vinzenco Bellini wrote 2 of his most famous works Norma and La Sonnambula which later inspired the name of the resort. The plush lobby and communal rooms of Roccabruna feature velvet and marble throughout with the most beautiful views of the lake. You can imagine how easy was for us to take pictures at every single corner that was very much Instagramable. The whole of the resort has 75 rooms, 2 restaurants, 2 pools and a hi-end end spa. Casta Diva is where a lot of well know celebrities stay when visiting Lake Como including Robert de Niro. Our suits were located in Vila Dorabella were absolutely stunning.
