The Secret Garden Library at the Browns Hotel

When I heard that Browns Hotel dresses their library with flowers, I thought to myself, I have to go and cover it on the blog.  So we booked a late afternoon lunch and cocktails both served with edible flowers. I mean it can get better than that. Walking into The Secret Garden Library at the Browns hotel felt like being in the middle of the English countryside. The room was filled wit lilacs, peonies and English county roses making a perfect setting for a date. The Browns hotel is really fancy and beautiful flowers are so pretty to surround yourself with. Since we spent the entire day shooting, it was good to start with a delicious cocktail. I opted for Cherry in Bubble, which is Belvedere Vodka stirred with rooibos syrup, maraschino, yuzu juice and champagne. The glass is sprayed with gold dust. My friend opted for Oriental Blossom a Monkey 47 gin shaken with cranberry juice, lime juice, mint leaves and a Fruity Dram made of Glenmorangie The Original shaken with Chambord, pineapple juice, lemon juice, goji and coconut syrup. Food wise we ordered a Berkley farm burrata With wild spring herbs and Tonnix olive oil and Scallops served with cucumber flowers and wild fennel. […]
