For years now, Apple as well as Android fanboys (myself not excluded) have been predicting the doom of Blackberry phones, blackberry OS and in short the whole blackberry ecosystem. Well it seems that we'd all have to hold on to our hats as the California based smartphone manufacturer is not going down without a fight. In recent days, blackberry has been gently teasing a new breakthrough smartphone that could rescue them from obscurity. The name of the smartphone is the "priv". It is an android based(yes, you heard right) smartphone built around a slider form factor allowing for a slide-out keyboard(which is touch enabled). The screen is 2k resolution with a diagonal size of 5.4 inches.
I'm not here to give a rundown of the specs, just to say that for the second time in a year, a blackberry device is getting me really exited( the first being the passport). As some of you might have guessed already, the word "Priv" stands for privacy which is one of the selling points of the smartphone. Take a look:
