Maruti Suzuki recently launched the 2022 XL6 in the Indian market. They updated the exterior design of the MPV, added a few features and even gave a new engine. The XL6 has always been a good looking MPV that has the potential for modification. Here, we have a rendering of the XL6 Facelift that has been imagined with a wide body kit.

The rendering of the XL6 with a wide-body kit has been done by Bimble Designs. The video is uploaded on the YouTube channel whereas the images are shared on their Instagram page. The artist has made the renders in different colours too. Overall, the XL6 now looks butch and has a strong road presence. Having said that, it is important to note that this is just an imagination of the artist and Maruti Suzuki has not announced any special version of the XL6.

Up-front, there is a different bumper. It is lower, has a front splitter and has deeper air dams. The main grille is also different and has honeycomb shapes. The chrome strip that connects the Suzuki logo is now coloured. The headlamp shape is the same but the LED elements and the Daytime Running Lamps are different now.

On the sides, there are squared-off and extended wheel arches. We can see how much the body kit has widened the XL6. There are also side skirts on the sides. The alloy wheels are new and get pin striping. They are wrapped in low-profile tyres. There are roof rails and window visors. The LED tail lamps have the same design but the elements are new. The rear diffuser is also new and comes with a faux diffuser. A spoiler has also been added at the rear.

2022 XL6 prices and variants

The 2022 XL6 starts at Rs. 11.29 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 14.55 lakhs ex-showroom. It is offered in three variants. There is Zeta and Alpha and Alpha+. It competes against Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo.

The XL6 is now equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system, ventilated front seats, 360-degree parking camera, paddle shifters, Hill Hold Assist, Electronic Stability Program and 4 airbags. There is also Suzuki Connect connected car tech that also supports smartwatch compatibility.

The steering wheel is a new three-spoke unit that gets a flat bottom. The cabin is finished in an all-black theme with a wooden insert in the dashboard. There is also a new touchscreen infotainment system that runs a new user interface. It also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The other major change is the new engine. It is still a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated unit but it gets dual injectors per cylinder now. The power output stands at 103 PS and the peak torque output is 137 Nm. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The claimed fuel efficiency of the manual gearbox is 20.97 kmpl and for the automatic transmission, it is 20.27 kmpl.
