This modified Yamaha Libero from Eimor Customs looks beautiful

Cartoq.com –

Eimor Customs is a popular name in the Motorcycle modification community. The Hyderabad-based custom house is normally known for customising Royal Enfield motorcycles. We have featured many of their recent projects on our website in the past. It looks like, Eimor was working a project that was not a Royal Enfield. They recently customised a Yamaha Libero motorcycle. They have beautifully customised the motorcycle and in this article, we’ll be talking about the modifications and changes that are done to this regular commuter segment motorcycle.

The images for the Yamaha Libero has been shared by Eimor Customs on their Facebook page. Yamaha Libero was a very popular motorcycle in its time. The styling on this customised motorcycle is actually inspired from RX100 . Yamaha RX100 is one such motorcycle that has a large fan following even today. There are several examples of well maintained RX100 motorcycles from different parts of the country but, this is different. Eimor Customs have completely modified the Libero motorcycle to make it look like an RX100 like motorcycle.

Starting with the front, the motorcycle gets knobby tyres. The steel rims on the motorcycle have been retained but, instead of chrome it is painted in matte black shade. All the silver elements that are normally seen on a Libero have been either removed or blacked out. As we move up, the motorcycle gets custom metal fenders with Yamaha logo sticker on it. The fender is finished in gloss black finish.

Aftermarket turn indicators are placed on the either ends of the front forks. A new round headlamp on the motorcycle now comes with a mesh type guard. The original instrument cluster on the motorcycle has been replaced with twin pod units. This could probably be a unit borrowed from Yamaha RD350. The handle bar on the motorcycle has been customised and it now comes with bar-end mirrors. The switch gear on the motorcycle has also been changed.

One of the main attraction on this motorcycle is the paint job. The motorcycle gets a very elegant looking shade of Green along with the combination of black. There is a bit of pinstriping on the fuel tank along with Yamaha branding. The side panels on the motorcycle has been replaced with customised as well. The engine and the elements around it have been given a matte black finish. It is still powered by the same 106-cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine that generates 7.7 bhp and 7.8 Nm of torque.

An engine protector plate is also installed. The chain cover has been removed and metal tyre hugger can be seen at the rear. The seat on this motorcycle is a custom made unit. The seat is wrapped in leather with diamond stitching on it. it gets a design similar to what we’ve seen on Cafe racers. It gets an aftermarket tail lamp and the rear custom fender extends after the seat slightly. The rear tyres is left exposed and the turn indicators are positioned right next to the tail lamp.

The stock exhaust on this motorcycle has been replaced with a custom made all-black unit. Yamaha Libero was a commuter motorcycle and it did not have a great exhaust note but, with the new exhaust setup we hope that has changed. Overall work done on this motorcycle looks very neat.
