Hyundai is only a few days away from launching the all-new Elite i20 in the Indian market. Before the official unveiling of the car and price announcement, the cars have started to reach the dealerships. These are the first pictures of the uncamouflaged Hyundai Elite i20 that will replace the current model from the market. Here are the details.

The pictures have been shared by T-BHP that shows the all-new Hyundai Elite i20 in its full glory without any camouflage. Hyundai is expected to launch the all-new Elite i20 on 28th October. The images show two different colours of the Hyundai Elite i20 – red and dark grey. These pictures reveal the front and rear of the all-new Elite i20 for the Indian market for the first time ever.

The exterior looks the same as the international version of the model that has been launched in different markets. The car now gets a large grille at the front with sleek headlamps o both the sides. The fog lamps are housed in triangular housings that add a sporty look to the car. The front bumper has been updated too and it gets an aggressive-looking bumper lip finishing in a contrasting colour. The side-look of the car has also become sportier and Hyundai has added sharp-looking alloy wheels.

The rear of the all-new Hyundai Elite i20 looks very different from the previous version. The rear gets split lamps with a bar joining both of them. It also gets a rear bumper lip in contrasting black colour. Hyundai has also added a shark fin antenna. The red coloured car can be spotted with the Asta badge. Other variant details are not known currently but leaked documents released earlier this month shows that Hyundai will offer the car in four variants – Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O).

On the inside, the Hyundai Elite i20 looks very similar to the international version. It gets a massive 10.25-inch floating-type infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also get the Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity suite. The instrument cluster of the all-new Hyundai Elite i20 is different from the international spec and it looks similar to the Hyundai Verna’s console.

Engine-wise, Hyundai will offer 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The naturally-aspirated petrol produces a maximum power of 83 PS and peak torque of 113 Nm. It will get a 5-speed manual transmission. While the turbocharged petrol engine generates a maximum power of 120 PS and peak torque of 172 Nm. It might get a 6-speed iMT but the 7-speed DCT is confirmed. The diesel variants will get 100 PS of maximum power and 240 Nm of peak torque. Only a six-speed manual transmission will be available with it.
