Founder and Creative Director of Stevie K Cosmetics Co-Founder and Charles + Lee, Kate Fissenden knows beauty and knows it well. 

Designed and made in Melbourne, Australia, Stevie K Cosmetics was launched in 2015 with punchy colours and eye-catching designs, taking inspiration from the street art and culture of this amazing city. Beginning with lipsticks and branching out into eyeshadows and accessories, all products are highly pigmented and long lasting. All lipsticks are available in both matte and creme formulations, and with names such as ‘Here Comes Trouble’, ‘Burning Bridges’ and ‘Betty Bandit’ – they’re as fun as they are gorgeous! Kate shared with me just today that 65 new products dropping in May, with ‘Jam Jar’ and ‘Cross The Line’ launching this weekend – WOW! Excitingly, mens skincare range Charles & Lee has just secured ranging in MYER throughout Australia and is launching in South Africa and Korea next month, so this is a range to keep your eyes on! Now, Let’s delve into Kate’s beauty cupboard okay?

Kate says, “I used to be SO bad with my nightly skincare routine. After working super long days, standing in front of the bathroom mirror for 20 minutes before bed was the last thing on my mind. To save time, I’ve started using Korean skincare products as I find they are more potent and multi-purpose than what is normally available – plus their packaging is always super fun! Being in the beauty industry, I am really spoilt for choice when it comes to products of choice. Because I don’t wear foundation, I apply a light layer of gradual tan in with my moisturiser every second night to even out my skin tone. My go-to day look is always a pop of colour on the eyes and fresh, flushed lips and cheeks. At the moment I am loving reds and bright pink eyeshadows, softly blended on the lid followed by lashings of mascara.”
