This year, for Subaru Loves Learning, we’re trying something new to help further benefit local elementary students.

Subaru and its retailers have partnered up with AdoptAClassroom.org to help struggling School districts meet the needs of their students. Spangler Subaru will be adopting several classrooms at Maple Ridge Elementary School in Somerset as part of this initiative.

Beginning this month, six teachers at the school will be awarded funds to shop for new classroom supplies. These teachers will be able to shop from places such as Staples, Lakeshore Learning, and Scholastic, among others, for supplies and equipment they desperately need to set their students up for success.

Across the United States, Subaru and its retailers will go on to help 114,000 students attending low income schools.

You can be a part of this fantastic event! In our showroom, you will find notes of gratitude to fill out. Here you can write a nice thank you to teachers at Maple Ridge Elementary on the apple shaped stickers. These stickers will then be posted on a large school bus easel and presented to the school at the end of the month. Feel free to stop in and fill out a note of gratitude and stick it to the school bus!
