Spangler Subaru Loves pets! And that is why this year we are sponsoring Pet Trick or Treat! We love our furry ones because they are family, and we want to enjoy the same qualities anyone normally would with a family member. That is why, in associated with PAWS House, we are putting together our first Pet Trick or Treat!
The trick or treating will take place on Sunday, October 29th from noon to 3 pm at Windber Rec Maple pavilion. We will be setting up ‘treat points’ along various spots on the trails that go around the park. Each point will be manned with a few volunteers who will be passing out a treat to every pet who walks by. There will be both dog and cat treats at all points.
Don’t forget the costume! Just like any Halloween celebration you can dress up your pets in spooky costumes. Think your pet has the best costume? Enter him/her into the costume contest! The judging will begin at 1:30 and the lucky parents with the best pet costumes will be awarded a Petco gift card and a bag full of Subaru gear. There will be multiple winners. We will also have picture frames where you can snap a picture of your pet driving a Crosstrek or sitting in a dog house.
This event is free, but all we ask is a donation to help out shelters in the area. You can give a cash donation which will directly support PAWS House, or you can bring in any of the following items:
Food
Collars & Leashes
Towels & Blankets
Toys
Grooming supplies
Food bowls
Treats
Cleaning supplies
For your generosity we will also be handing out Crosstrek plush pet toys and bandanas. These will be handed out on a first come first serve basis.
