In the world of Fashion , we plan for the next season from the previous season. Since we're already in Spring now is the perfect time to start planning our Summer outfits. I love that with each season we get to experiment with various outfits and trends and believe it or not , this can have an effect on our mood. Keep reading as we give you a few tips on the building blocks of a Summer wardrobe.
- Tank Tops
- Cotton Shirts
- Jersey Dress/Skirt
- Jeans
Once you have these you can add little things like Jumpsuits , Play-suits and of course Summer Dresses and Shorts or Skirts. If you are creative enough , you will be able to build several outfits from these pieces and it will seem like you have a lot of clothes when you just have a few pieces. If you wish you can also add trendy items like Wedges which are a Summer favorite , Statement Necklaces and of course Swimwear.
Since Summer is hot , I would highly recommend fabric that are soft , airy and breathable. Stay away for Fabric that will adsorb moisture like satin and silk as these will not look flattering with sweat marks being displayed for all to see.
If you are looking to take your Wardrobe into the next season , you will need to be conscious of the colors and can add a mix. The season after Summer will be Autumn ( depending on where you live ) which are usually favorable to darker colors.
