Hi Guys! Well Hello there! It's been so long since I've greeted you like that. If you are an avid reader of this Blog then you would have realized that there are some Authors one here that you are not quite familiar with. Whoever said an Independent Woman can’t be domesticated needs to take a long hard look at themselves. I find that kind of thinking very backwards and I think it’s time both sexes grew up! Let me establish that I am not a feminist or sexist of any kind. I have simply chosen the most practical way to live my life and I always encourage others to do the same.
Fact! A woman’s “place” is not in the home.
Fact! It is not a man’s “job” to be the sole provider.
Both sayings are absolute malarkey! You might as well try to convince me that a ‘lady’ never wears a skirt above her ankles. In this economy, most families will need two salaries just to get by. That means both the man and the woman in the relationship will need to bring home some bacon. If you want to starve because you are too proud to help your man care for the Financial needs of your family…. Well…. All the best to yah.
That being said, if a woman is going to be expected to assist with the financial needs of the home, I see no reason for the man to refuse to help with chores. I am pretty sure men were also designed with the requisite amount of hands and enough senses to be able to clean, do laundry, wash dishes and dare I say it, cook! No one is recommending that either sex stomp around demanding “50/50.” I am simply recommending that each of us be attentive to the other’s needs. A family must be governed by Love. It would be loving to assist your husband with the bills and it would be loving for him to help out around the house.
