A little while back I wrote a post about how I was in need of some relaxation. I bought a new House, sold our old apartment and started a new position at work all in a short space of time.

I decided back then that I needed to do what I needed to do was to relax a bit. So I took a break from all the redecoration that is left on the list and take quite a bit of time to do some things that make me regain some Energy.

I still have a lot to do at work, but I am not as stressed as I was back then. Getting rid of the old place and slowing down in our new house has worked wonders for my Stress levels. I had a vacation that I was suppose to use for getting a lot done in the house, but I decided not to. We are getting a few little things done, but the list keeps growing as the pace is now glacial. But as we intend to stay here for a long time I am not to worried.

It still feels very good to be able to cross a few things off the list, but I have massively adjusted my expectations.

I got quite a lot of ideas of relaxation from you and a lot of them have been tried out. It is always important to look after yourself and not set the standards so high that they are impossible to live up to. This is something I always need to remind myself of, because it is very easy to forget.

As I am writing this I am lying outside in my garden enjoying the lovely warm sunshine and a cup of coffee, feeling completely relaxed. I have to go in in a while to do some work, but this is a big energy boost for me.
