The 21st FIFA World Cup ushered in true spirit among the enthusiasts cheering for the finest national teams across the globe. For all who have or haven’t followed the football gala, here is everything that you need to know about the football world cup. FIFA 2018 Matches: Russia welcomed the 32 participating teams and stalwarts with huge celebration. The audiences from every corner around the world took an active part in the celebration where as the football world started to prepare for the beginning. The first match between Russia and Saudi Arabia witnessed Russia’s unbeatable performance with a 5-0 score.

FIFA 2018 Teams: Most of the match dates were scheduled with three matches between six participating teams. The 32 participating teams in FIFA 2018 were GROUP A: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay; GROUP B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran; GROUP C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark; GROUP D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria; GROUP E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia; GROUP F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea; GROUP G: Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England; GROUP H: Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan.

FIFA 2018 Semi Finals & Finals: After 16 rounds, the four winning teams of the quarter-finals were France, Belgium, England and Croatia. After the semi finals, France and Croatia came up as the finalists who would be fighting for the world cup glory. On 15th July, the world cup final match between France and Croatia was evidently the ultimate moment for all the football enthusiasts, which resulted as France’s victory over Croatia with a 4-2 score.

FIFA 2018 Highlights: This FIFA world cup witnessed some unforgettable moments that broke the past world records. England, as a team was outstanding with 6 numbers of goals by the captain Harry Kane along with the overall performance of the team. He is the highest individual goal scorer in FIFA 2018. While France won the world cup, Croatia ruled over the hearts of people all over the world with their top of the line performance throughout the tournament.

FIFA 2018 Fashion: When it comes to the uniforms and kits, some of the best out of the lot are Nigeria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Columbia where as those who lagged behind are Iran, Morocco, Tunisia, Panama, Poland, Denmark and Siberia. We loved Nigeria’s home kit the most, which was sold out immediately after it was launched.

Upsets & Unforgettable Results: The world cup started with the news of Netherland and Italy’s disqualification from the FIFA 2018. Later, Germany’s defeat in the qualifying round was another major upset. Two most world famous players Lionel Messi (Argentina) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) played their last world cup in the FIFA 2018.

As the world cup fever is obviously not yet over, we are looking for the best highlights that we will remember till the 22nd FIFA in Qatar. The tentative date for the 22nd FIFA world cup is from 21st November to 18th December. It is going to take place in 5 to 8 host cities in Qatar. The final match is supposed to be held on 18th December 2022, which is known as the Qatar National Day.
