Top 5 Ways to Re-Style Your Old Denim Jeans

Have you got a pair of Jeans that look old and unfashionable but are still very comfortable? Do you want to revive them as per latest fashion trends rather than throwing them away? If so, here are top 5 ways to restyle your old denim jeans that you can do yourself with a little effort and a small amount of money.

  1. Cut and Paste Studs

You just need to go to the market and ask for the cut and sew Studs. Then you can cut the thickness you would prefer for the cuff and attach it to the seams by using hot glue. Don’t wrap all the way around the cuff and remember to leave some space for a stretch at the seams.

  1. Pearl Magic

If you have old skinny boyfriend jeans that fit perfectly then, you can add plastic pearls available in two sizes and colors. Then you can just stitch one pearl at a time on the front thigh area of the denim jeans. Start by sewing larger pearls near the pocket and pull the thread up through the back and the denim twice. Knot and snip the thread to finish. You can add as many pearls you want and however you want, be your creative best.

  1. Studs Down the Leg

You can also buy loose studs and add them all the way down the side in a pattern. Simply stab them through the jeans and then bend the arms by using pliers. Ensure that the arms of the studs are properly bent otherwise they might scratch your skin when you wear the jeans.

  1. Geometric Shape

Use fabric paint and masking tape to add geometric shapes on the jeans. Start with the front of the legs and create triangles with masking tape. Then paint the areas you have created. Unstick the masking tape when you are done painting and stick it again when the paint is dry. Repeat the tape and paint process until you cover the entire jeans.

  1. Leather and Stud Cuff

Another trick is to take a leather piece and cut it according to the size of the cuff. Then you need to attach it with hot glue. Again, don’t cover the seams and allow the jeans the room to stretch. The next step is to take the studs and create a pattern that will embellish the outside seam. Again, poke the studs through the leather and denim and use pliers to bend the arms of the studs so that they don’t poke you.
