When you start questioning someone’s loyalty, it can indeed be a signal to reassess the dynamics of the relationship. Rewarding loyalty with your own loyalty reinforces the mutual respect and commitment, while responding to disloyalty by creating distance is a way to protect yourself and maintain healthy boundaries. It’s important to recognize and appreciate those who stand by you through thick and thin, while also being discerning about where you invest your time and energy.
