Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ibrahim Magu will appear tomorrow for screening by the Senate.
Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki confirmed his appearance while presiding over plenary on Tuesday.
Ibrahim Magu’s screening if carried out as envisaged would put to rest public backlash on the Senate for refusing him screening in December 2016.
Then the Senate adduced reasons for a report that indicted him, but President Muhammadu Buhari later re-send his name, explaining that the EFCC Chairman has been investigated based on the report and was not found culpable.
If confirmed, he will become the substantive Chairman having been in an acting capacity over a year now.
