The Spring Nail Edit

Granted well and truly, it's not quite Spring and I'm not all that amazing at painting my nails- but it is something I enjoy every now and then and, as I recently added a few polishes to my collection, I thought it'd be a good idea to finally do some sort of nail-related post! So... want to see some of my current favourites?

(Left To Right)

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Polish in 6 Pit Stop- When it comes to Barry M polishes, there's very little I can fault- as for the price, their polishes are outstanding! The only thing I have to say is that you definitely need a few coats of this shade as it's quite pale- but other than that, it's a staple light grey I think everyone needs in their collection! And as for the 'speedy quick dry' claim, I can confirm that Barry M haven't let us down!

Rimmel 60 SecondsNail Polish in 800, Black Out- For me, a black polish is just a staple, whether it be Winter or Spring etc... For me, this is the best black shade I've found and can have completely opaque nails with 2 coats! Need to mention, the polish only starts to chip within a few days wear and is a bargain at £2.99!

Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in 55, Angel Nails- Aside from the fact that this nail polish is a bloody nightmare to remove, it's a firm favourite in my collection. The shade itself is very flattering, with a rose-gold hue and chrome finish, and also boasts longevity- a thumbs up from me!

Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish in 500, Caramel Cupcake- (This polish didn't come out too well on camera and is nowhere near as pale in person, please keep that in mind!) To be perfectly honest, it was only recently that I've started to like this shade! At first, I didn't find the shade all that flattering on my skin tone- but nailed it down to the fact I only applied one coat. With two coats, it is a beautiful pale pinky-nude that's perfect for day to day wear- nothing too in your face, the reason I like it so much!

Ciaté Nail Polish in Fit For A Queen- If you're after a silver chrome polish, I think I've found you the one! The formula is stunning and polish itself just glides on your nails, with pigmentation so high I've never used more than one coat! I think I may be in love...

Ciaté Nail Polish in Snow Globe- Though this one can be a bit difficult to apply at times, Snow Globe is a beautiful clear polish with holographic pieces of glitter that can be used as both a top coat, or on its own! My nails look effortless gorgeous with this polish and, while the pieces of glitter can come off relatively easy, the polish does last a fair while. Shame I couldn't find any in stock!

Barry M Frosted Cupcakes Nail Polish in 1 Strawberries and Cream- Again, this one is a recent addition to the collection and I'm in love! As with Caramel Cupcake, I feel you need 2 coats to do this polish justice, but it is a lovely pale-pink with a slight shimmer. As with other Barry M polishes, this one will keep your nails looking nice for up to a week!
