Time to unbox & review the September 2023 Fit Snack box!
Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).

Bamba Foods Natually Sweet Plantain Chips
I love plantain chips and am always happy when they pop up in subscription boxes! These crunchy, naturally sweet chips are made with just 2 simple ingredients: plantains and sustainable palm olein. — No added sugar! They’re also non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly. Yum!
Bamba Foods Sweet & Spicy Plantain Chips
September’s box also included a second flavor of plantain chips — “Sweet & Spicy”! Like the original flavor, these are made with plantains and sustainable palm olein — but with the addition of chili seasoning as well. They’re still vegan, gluten-free, and contain 40% less fat than regular potato chips.
R.E.D.D. Peanut Butter Cup Energy Bar
This plant-based energy bar is made with clean ingredients including roasted peanut butter, organic rolled oats, peanuts, organic date paste, chia seeds, organic quinoa crispies, pumpkin, and more. Each serving contains 9 grams of protein, 11 grams of fiber, and just 5 grams of sugar. It’s both vegan-friendly and gluten free.
Peeled Snacks Organic Apple Gently Dried Fruit
A healthy snack made with just one simple ingredient: organic apples. That’s it! — The apples are gently dried to retain as much as their nutrient content as possible and they contain zero added sugar or preservatives.
Nourish Organic Strawberry Coconut Bites
These soft coconut bites are made in the UK with natural ingredients including coconut, raw extra virgin coconut oil, raw honey, freeze-dried strawberry, cacao butter, and vanilla bean. A sweet treat without any dairy, gluten, or refined sugar.
Berg Almond Butter & Jelly Oat N’ Energy Bites
Berg Almond Butter & Jelly Energy Bites are loaded with essential nutrients & complex carbs to deliver long term energy. Ingredients include gluten free oats, organic blue agave, almond butter, organic raisins, coconut MCT oil, and chia seeds. Each 5-bite serving contains 5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein, and 7 grams of heart-healthy fats.
Berg Dark Chocolate Banana Bread Oat N’ Energy Bites
Like the flavor above, Berg’s Dark Chocolate Banana Bread Energy Bites are also made with gluten free oats, organic blue agave, almond butter, coconut MCT oil, and chia seeds — but it also includes dark chocolate and freeze dried bananas.
Chum Strawberry Fruit Bites
These strawberry flavored fruit bites are made with 100% fruit (apples, pears, and strawberries) and contain no added sugars or sweeteners of any kind. They’re gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan friendly.
Chum Mango Fruit Bites
The same product as the one above — but with apples, pears, and mangoes instead of strawberries. Yum!
For what I believe was the first time ever (at least for me), September’s 2023 Fit Snack box contained ALL vegan-friendly items. Woohoo! My personal favorites this time were the Bamba Foods Plantain Chips, Nourish Strawberry Coconut Bites, Berg Bites, and Chum Fruit Bites (so many “bites”!). — Remember, for a limited time you can save 20% on your first box!
