Amoda Tea August 2023 Tea Subscription Box Review

Amoda Tea is a premium tea subscription box that sends hand picked tea samples to your door every month.

Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.

Subscriptions are $20/month and shipping is free.

Let’s see what’s in the August 2023 Amoda Tea box!

Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the center.

A peek inside!

A 2-sided info card included a full color iced tea-themed photo on one side, with a message about this month’s tea selections on the other. The QR code printed at the bottom gives you access to additional info on the teas as well as recipes and tips.

All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.

SerendipiTea “Persian Nectar”

“Persian Nectar” is a high-caffeine blend that’s sure to awaken your senses with its fruity aroma. It contains a flavorful combination of Indian black tea, apple pieces, roasted chicory root, hibiscus, licorice root, rose hips, and natural peach flavor. Enjoy this sweet treat hot or try it iced during these last days of summer.

Petals Tea Shop “Enemies to Lovers”

Petals Tea Shop is a new Amoda tea partner based in Greenville, South Carolina. Its founder is a former reading teacher who donates a book to a local child for every purchase made in her shop. “Enemies to Lovers” is an herbal blend that features lemongrass, strawberries, elderberries, safflower, cornflower, and calendula. It’s caffeine-free and sounds absolutely delicious!

SerendipiTea “City Harvest Green”

I LOVE a good fruity green tea! “City Harvest Green” from SerendipiTea is a low caffeine blend comprised of Chinese green tea, apple pieces, jasmine petals, and apple flavor. The addition of jasmine ensures that this is a tea that I’m really going to enjoy. Mmm!!

Petals Tea Shop “Night Court”

I was immediately reminded of the old sitcom when I saw the title, but this “Night Court” was actually inspired by a popular book series by Sarah J. Maas called “A Court of Thorns and Roses”. The high-caffeine brew features an earl grey style blend of black tea, bergamot, vanilla, blue cornflowers, white sage, chamomile, and clove.

Biodegradable Tea Filters

A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.

My August 2023 Amoda Tea shipment included a nice selection of black, green, and herbal tea blends. I’m most looking forward to trying “Persian Nectar”, “Enemies to Lovers, and “City Harvest Green”!
