Time for another Nadine West review! — Let’s see what’s in my August 2023 package!
Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home. Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.

Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 2 tops, 2 bottoms (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.

Coralie Top in Green & Black/White Stripe
This tri-color top features an olive green upper half, white mid-section, and black & white striped lower half. It has a wide crewneck collar with a round/curved hemline at the bottom. It’s a great tee to throw on with a pair of black leggings or skinny jeans for an easy casual look.
Mallory Top in Ash Gray
If you’re a regular reader of my clothing reviews, you know that I’m not really into “unnecessary” added details…. Like, oh, I don’t know… rows of decorative buttons along the sides of a t-shirt. I almost don’t mind them, as the dark gray color of the tee makes them stand out a little less. Still, I’m not sure if I can find it in myself to look past ’em. (Yep, I’m that picky.)
Swingie Strifee Dress in Dusty Rose
I honestly didn’t have high hopes for this dress when taking it out of the package, but once I actually tried it on it wasn’t too bad! It has a surprisingly forgiving fit and was flattering on my not-exactly-toned mom bod. Oh — and like many Nadine West dresses, it also has pockets!
Jessica Mid Rise Skinny Pants in Charcoal
I’m all about the skinny/slim-fit pants (usually jeggings/leggings) and this pair did not disappoint. It has a snug fit like leggings, but comes with a functioning zipper & button closure. There’s even functional pockets on both the front and back! Oh, and belt loops! These pants have it all!
Kaileen Pants in Black
I’m always kinda bummed to find dress pants in my Nadine West shipment. I’m a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom and have zero need/desire to wear anything remotely “dressy”. That said, these do look pretty comfortable and would be ideal for someone who needs to look more professional.
Lorna Necklace in Silver
This month’s jewelry item was a mid-length silver necklace with three joined/layered chains (not removable). The shortest chain featured a row of black iridescent round disks flanked by solid silver charms. My daughters usually ask if they can have the necklaces from this subscription, but I think I’m keeping this one for myself.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My August 2023 Nadine West shipment had an even amount of hits and misses, which is totally fine for someone as picky as I happen to be.
