Let’s see what’s in the July 2023 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the bottom right corner.
A peek inside!
A 2-sided info card included a full color iced tea-themed photo on one side, with a message about this month’s tea selections on the other. The QR code printed at the bottom gives you access to additional info on the teas as well as recipes and tips.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
The Denman Island Tea Company “Sunset Sencha”
The green tea base for The Denman Island Tea Company’s “Sunset Sencha” above is grown on mainland China using organic practices. It has a clean, vegetal profile and pairs well with its blend of organic citrus peels, flower petals and natural extracts. — A great low-caffeine tea for any time of day.
Plum Deluxe “Huckleberry Happiness”
I love fruity teas and this one sounds delicious! It features full-bodied black tea combined with sweet elderberries, aronia berries, black currants, blueberries, hibiscus, cornflowers, and huckleberry essence. It’s high in caffeine, making it ideal to enjoy in the early morning hours.
Plum Deluxe “House Blend”
This classic offering from Plum Deluxe was inspired by a typical British “builder’s tea” — a strong cup of tea which takes its name from the inexpensive tea commonly drunk by laborers taking a break. The tea base is a flavorful mix of bold Assam and citrusy Ceylon black teas combined with safflower, blue malva flowers, and vanilla essence. It’s a low caffeine tea that can be sipped throughout the day.
Plum Deluxe “Peach Bellini”
Yay, another fruity blend! — This cocktail-inspired “Peach Bellini” tea is bursting with a flavorful mix of real fruit including apples, apricots, strawberries, mangoes, oranges, and pineapples. It has an organic rooibos base and zero caffeine. Enjoy it hot, over ice, or even mixed with Prosecco for a fizzy treat!
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
My July 2023 Amoda Tea shipment included a nice sampling of black, green, and rooibos tea blends. I’m most looking forward to trying “Huckleberry Happiness” and “Peach Bellini”! Yum!
