Let’s see what’s in the May 2023 My Paper Box (Grand Subscription) box!

Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a personalized sticker/label on top. — May’s theme is “Time to Fiesta”!

A peek inside!

The box now comes with an insert with an extra calendar printed on the reverse side — complete with lesser-known daily “holidays”.

An exclusive My Paper Box booklet/”magazine” provided more details about the items inside this month’s box, as well as a calendar, detailed list of bizarre & unique holidays, helpful tips on a variety of subjects, and more.

Desk Calendar

In addition to the calendar printed inside the booklet, the box also included a separate 2-sided card featuring a May 2023 calendar on one side and a list of unique holidays on the other.

Fiesta Greeting Cards

Four different fiesta-themed greeting cards with multi-colored envelopes were included — all tucked into their own little (reusable!) box.

The first two cards were adorned with images of vibrantly colored piñatas (donkeys, I think?) dangling right above the word “FIESTA”. The inside of each card was blank to allow you to write your own personal message — or invitation to a bangin’ fiesta at your place.

The next set of greeting cards were much like the first, but with a green dinosaur-shaped piñata on the first card and a multi-colored spherical piñata (with eyes!) on the second. Envelopes for all four cards were shown a few photos up and included 1 blue, 1 yellow, and in 2 red.

Piñata Stripes Notepad

May’s box included 3 different notepads — all with colorful piñata designs. The first (and smallest) featured an allover “piñata stripes” design with darker colors along the borders and a lighter watermark-style space in the center to allow for more legible notes. My name was centered at the top in small black text.

Fiesta then Siesta Notepad

Next up was a longer, narrow notepad with pre-printed lines for all of your list-making needs. The design printed at the top included two blue piñatas with the phrase “Fiesta then Siesta” in a festive blue font. My name was centered at the bottom of the pad in dark blue (purple?) text.

Piñata Party Notepad

The final (and largest) of the notepads was super colorful and reminded me of some sort of piñata chatroom. It featured all of the piñata friends from the greeting cards, each in their own little squared off section (chat bubble? ). This time my name was centered at the top in bold white text.

Fiesta Gift Tag Stickers

Two sheets of whimsical fiesta-themed gift tag stickers were included for sticking on all of those fiesta-themed… party… gifts? Okay, I’m honestly not sure what I would use these for so I think I’m just going to be a weirdo and use them for Christmas presents and see if anyone notices that reindeer have been replaced by donkeys.

Fiesta Confetti

This little packet of colorful confetti was such a cute addition to May’s box. I was going to open it up for photo purposes, but decided against it since I have kiddos who would 100% have it spread all over the house by the end of the night. Okay, maybe just their bedroom. But still. This will be saved for a special occasion. (Likely an outdoor one!)

Fiesta! Maraca Pen

Speaking of my kids… Something tells me this pen won’t be in my possession for very long. But I can’t blame them… It’s hard to resist with its “built-in” maraca that you can’t help but want to shake. A lot. It’s oddly soothing.

May’s fiesta-themed My Paper Box was so fun! Everything was bursting with color, whimsy, and overall good vibes. My personal favorites this time were the personalized notepads, greeting cards, confetti, and of course the coveted maraca pen. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first Grand Subscription box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
