Each box features a themed collection of 4-5 hand-crafted items, produced by artisans from all around the world. There are more than 5 box themes available each month, and you have the opportunity to choose which one you’d like to receive. If you prefer to be surprised, you can also choose ‘Surprise’ and they’ll make the choice for you.
GlobeIn helps to bring income and exposure to small artists, while introducing you to beautiful pieces of their culture. Many of the products included are eco-friendly, fairly traded, and/or organic.

Instead of their previous booklet format, GlobeIn now sends an info card with a QR code which you can scan for full details about the items in each box. (You can also choose to simply go to the url printed on the card as well.)
Mini Botanical Plant Press ($25 value), India
I remember drying leaves inside the pages of heavy books when I was a kiddo, so receiving a real plant press has renewed my interest in preserving little bits of nature. — This time, for my own kids to enjoy. The mini press above was handcrafted by a team of artisans using sustainable mango wood. It measures 3.75″ wide x 3.75″ long x 1.5″ high, making it ideal for small blooms or leaves. When placed between the two wooden plates, they should remain for roughly a week until dried/flattened enough for display.
Double Glass Hexagonal Hanging Frame ($18 value), India
Once your “specimens” are ready for displaying, you can pop one or two right into this hanging frame. Also handcrafted in India, the hexagon-shaped piece is constructed of glass & brass metal and measures 3.75″ wide x 7″ high (with chain). To display your flowers, simply slide the metal latch over to open the frame and place them inside. If you’d prefer to use it for something more traditional, it will also fit a 3.5″ photograph.
Double Glass Brass Frame ($25 value), India
Not sure where to hang the first frame? No worries! You can still display your goods right away with the free-standing frame above. Made with the same materials as the other frame, this one measures 4.25″ wide x 6″ high and can fit a 4″ x 6″ photograph if you choose not to go the dried flowers route.
Handblown Glass Bowl “Rose Garden” ($18 value), Mexico
GlobeIn always sends the neatest pieces of glassware! This little bowl was handmade by a team of Mexican glass blowers using recycled glass in a variety of colors. The piece was designed with neutral colors “to remind you of a warm garden during golden hour”. It measures 3.75″ inches in diameter x 2.5 inches high.
Dried Rose Petals ($5 value), Morocco
The Moroccan flower drying business is at its peak during the hot, dry summer months. Local artisans cut the rose stems to an appropriate length before they are hung upside down in a dark area with good circulation. They are left drying for three to four weeks before they are fully dried and packaged to start their journey to your home. Toss a handful into the glass bowl above to fill your room with the soft scent of roses.
I always appreciate a good theme and this “Eternal Box” from GlobeIn did not disappoint. From the beautifully crafted mini flower press, to the frames to display your specimens in, this was definitely one of their more unique offerings.
