Let’s check out some Naturebox snacks!

I was sent a sampling of vegan-friendly snacks for review, which were shipped in the small box above.

A peek inside!

Smoky BBQ Lentil Loops (8oz., $5.99)

These were the first thing I opened because I LOVE anything bbq-flavored (except meat of course 😉 ). I was immediately impressed by the size of the bag and the fact that it was loaded with EIGHT 1.5-cup servings. So much bbq goodness in one bag! Not only are the loopy shapes fun to eat, but they have half the fat of bbq potato chips and are packed with the goodness of lentils. So good!

Plantain Chips (8 oz.)

For some reason I never think to buy plantain chips on my own, but I’m always happy when they pop up in snack boxes. These crunchy, slightly salty chips are made with just 3 simple ingredients: green plantains, palm oil, and salt. Warning: These are VERY addictive. 😉

Kung Pao Pretzels (6 oz., $4.49)

Although the snacks all have resealable bags (yay!), I still wanted to keep them as fresh as possible so the rest of them will be opened after the first two are eaten. (Such a “mom” plan.) The pretzels above may look like your ordinary ol’ waffle-shaped pretzels, but beware — they bring the heat! Of course, since I haven’t actually tried them yet I can’t tell you how hot they are, but I don’t see anything too fiery in the ingredients list.

Vanilla Almond Clusters (7 oz., $8.49)

These sweet, crunchy clusters are perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. They’re made with non-GMO ingredients including almonds, organic brown rice syrup, Himalayan Pink Salt, and vanilla powder. Each serving has 5 grams of protein, no trans fat, and only 6 grams of sugar. (UPDATE: I have since tried them and they are awesome! 😀 )

Naked Trail Mix (8 oz., $5.99)

I’m a fan of trail mix, but sometimes they can be loaded with sugar and other sweeteners. Thankfully, this “naked” version contains zero added sugar and is lightly salted. Its pure ingredients include peanuts, raisins, almonds, roasted pumpkin seeds, dried apples, and cashews. Yum!

Dried Tropical Mango (3.6 oz., sold in 2-pack for $8.49)

This sweet snack is made with just one ingredient — mango! A good source of iron, these dried mango slices contain no sulfites or added sugar and are naturally gluten-free & vegan-friendly. Mmm!

Kettle Corn (5 oz., $4.99)

Kettle corn is one of the few snacks that EVERYONE in our house enjoys. It has the perfect combination of both sweet and salty. There are just 4 simple ingredients that make up this tasty treat: popcorn, sugar, coconut oil, and sea salt. I think I’ll be saving this to enjoy with scary moving watching on Halloween night. 🙂

Banana Maca Energy Bites (7.4 oz., $9.99)

Naturebox also offers snacks made specifically to support your overall wellness, such as these banana maca energy bites. Maca is an amazing superfood with many essential vitamins and minerals that acts as an energy booster and also helps provide brain and cognitive support. Along with organic maca powder, these chewy bites also organic dried banana paste, organic shredded coconut, and coconut oil.

Blueberry, Apple & Sunflower Seed Oatmeal (1.59 oz., sold in 3-pack for $4.99)

Great for breakfast on the go, this hearty oatmeal contains a flavorful blend of rolled oats, quick oats, organic evaporated cane sugar, raw sunflower seeds, dried apples, dried blueberries, organic cinnamon,  and sea salt. It’s non-GMO, low sodium, vegan, and a good source of both fiber & protein.

Granola Bars (1 oz., sold in a 12-pack for $12.99)

I received a sample of 2 different granola bars — Chocolate Chip and Red Berry. Both are chewy and made with simple ingredients including whole grain gluten free oats, brown rice syrup, whole grain brown crisp rice, organic cane sugar, and sea salt.

I’m so excited to try all of these awesome Naturebox snacks! The ones that I have tried were great (especially those BBQ Lentil Loops!), so I’m looking forward to slowly working my way through the rest. 😉 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first Naturebox purchase with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
