Let’s see what’s in the January 2019 Degusta Box!

As always, everything was shipped in a big box with the Degusta Box logo on the side.

A peek in the box!

An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.

Lundberg Family Farms Grounded Snacks Vanilla Chai Baked Grain Bites ($3.49)

These crispy baked grain bites from Lundberg Family Farms are made with organic ingredients including brown rice flour, sorghum flour, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and real vanilla flavor. They’re non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan-friendly. 🙂

Idahoan Instant Mashed Potatoes ($1.39 each)

January’s box included two different flavors of Idahoan instant mashed potatoes — Cheddar & Sour Cream and Smokey Cheese & Bacon. Both are made with 100% real Idaho potatoes and allow you to make creamy mashed potatoes in minutes.

La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Flour Tortillas ($4.89)

These handmade style soft & flexible tortillas are made with unbleached wheat flour and have just 6 net carbs per serving. They’re also non-GMO and contain 9 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein per tortilla. Hello, taco night!

Sweet Baby Ray’s Hot Sauce ($3.29)

Add some heat to your favorite dishes with this spicy hot sauce from Sweet Baby Ray’s. It features a blend of aged cayenne pepper, vinegar, dried garlic, and other natural ingredients. It’s also vegan-friendly and gluten free.

Smashmallow Smash Crispy Marshmallow Rice Treats ($1.99 each)

These crispy rice treats are made with simple ingredients including organic crisp rice, sustainable palm oil, kosher certified gelatin, and all natural flavors. They’re non-GMO and free of soy, dairy, and gluten. Two flavors were included in January’s box: Strawberries & Cream and Cinnamon Churro.

Vitabella Strawberry Pillows Snack ($5.99)

A product of Italy, these little strawberry “pillows” are made with whole grains and contain zero artificial flavors or colors. I was happy to see that they’re clearly labeled “vegan” right on the front of the box and are also organic, non-GMO, and gluten free. A great find!

MaraNatha Almond Butter Packets (~$3?)

Convenient almond butter packets make for an easy on-the-go protein-filled snack. Three different varieties were included: Coconut, Caramel, and Dark Chocolate.

Frey Blond Crunchy Almond Bar ($3.29)

A product of Switzerland, this decadent chocolate bar is made with caramelized white chocolate and studded with crunchy almonds. It’s non-GMO and contains 27% nuts!

Partners Olive Oil & Sea Salt Snack Crackers ($3.99)

Artisan-style crackers made with pure ingredients like buttermilk, extra virgin olive oil, and sea salt. They contain no trans fats or hydrogenated oils and are non-GMO.

Michel et Augustin Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Square (Gift)

This little cookie was actually listed on the info sheet as a “gift”, which is good to know since it’s SO tiny. It consists of a crispy shortbread cookie covered in a smooth chocolate ganache and sprinkled with chopped hazelnut pieces. Mmm.
