Let’s see what’s in the June 2017 Degustabox!

Everything was shipped in a big box with the Degustabox logo on the side.

A peek inside! – Packed right to the top as always.

An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.

PopCorners Salt of the Earth Bean Crisps ($3.29)

Ooh! I love bean snacks/chips, but have never seen these ones before. They’re made with a blend of black beans, yellow split peas, green split peas, non-GMO yellow corn, sunflower oil, and sea salt. They’re also gluten free, vegan friendly, and contain 4 grams of plant-based protein per serving.

Bibigo Go-Chu-Jang Barbecue Sauce ($4.99)

I’ve never had Korean BBQ sauce before, but I’ll definitely give this a try. It’s said to have a perfectly balanced blend of sweet, spicy and savory flavors and is great for dipping, marinating, and everything in between. I think I’ll be trying it on my vegan “chicken” fingers. Mmm!

Entenmann’s Minis Apple Snack Pies ($4.69)

While these aren’t exactly the healthiest snack option (they’re loaded with sugar in various forms), I was beyond thrilled to see that they were vegan-friendly! I can’t even remember the last time I had an individually wrapped snack pie. Over 10 years for sure.

Brianna’s Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing ($3.99)

This creamy dressing features a mix of lime and cilantro for a fresh, zesty condiment to use as a dressing, dip, or sauce. It’s gluten-free, vegetarian (not vegan), and has zero high fructose corn syrup or trans fats.

Ritz Crisp & Thins Cream Cheese & Onion ($2.58)

A new product from Ritz, these potato & wheat based chips are oven baked instead of fried. They also have 50% less fat per serving than regular fried potato chips.

Julian’s Recipe Meyer Lemon Waffle Thins with Quinoa ($3.99)

Crispy, bite sized waffle snacks made with wholesome ingredients including unbleached wheat flour, unsalted butter, whole eggs, quinoa flour, meyer lemon & lemon peel, rice extract, and more.

Hodgson Mills Gluten Free Apple Cinnamon Muffin Mix ($4.49)

A gluten-free muffin mix made with chunks of orchard-ripe apples, ground cinnamon, whole grain millet, brown rice flours, and other natural ingredients. The box includes instructions for not only muffins, but gluten-free apple cinnamon pancakes too. Yum!

Sir Kensington’s Ketchup ($2)

This certified gluten-free, non-GMO ketchup contains 50% less sugar and 33% less sodium than leading ketchup brands. It’s made with real whole tomatoes and has no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients whatsoever.

Brooklyn Organics Craft Ginger Ale ($2)

USDA certified organic ginger ale sweetened with plant-based Stevia. It’s non-GMO and free of caffeine, sugar, calories, and artificial flavors. Sounds good to me!

Navitas Naturals Maca Superfood Bar ($2.29)

A gluten-free snack bar packed with nutrient-dense superfoods like roasted cashews, almonds, crisp brown rice, maca powder, sunflower seeds, cacao nibs, quinoa crisp, maple syrup, and more. Each bar is crafted in small batches using only plant-based organic ingredients.

Viter Energy Breath Mints (Bonus Item)

These wintergreen flavored mints both freshen your breath and boost your energy. Just one single mint has about half the amount of caffeine as a standard 8 ounce cup of brewed coffee and half the amount of caffeine as in a standard sized energy drink.

Another great assortment of goodies from Degustabox! My favorite items this month were the mini apple pies, bean crisps, muffin mix, ketchup, and ginger ale. So many great vegan-friendly products this month! — Remember, for a limited time (thru 6/30) you can get your first box for just $9.99 (regularly $19.99) — plus FREE shipping + a FREE bonus snack bar from Navitas Naturals! — To score this awesome deal, just use coupon code “2LRB2017” at checkout!
