Fit Snack September 2016 Review & Coupon Code

September 2016 Fit Snack unboxing time!

If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).

Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, oils, and the like.

Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. If you join Fit Snack using my link, you’ll save $3 on your first box!

Let’s see what’s in the September 2016 Fit Snack box!

The box!

A peek inside.

An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and a few discount codes.

Sensible Foods Roasted Edamame – A 100% vegan & gluten-free snack made with non-GMO roasted edamame. Just 80 calories per serving.

Purely Inspired French Vanilla Organic Protein – I’m used to seeing whey protein shakes in boxes, so I was happy to see this vegan-friendly one! It’s also gluten-free, non-GMO, and 20 grams of protein per serving.

Shine Organics Calm Superfood Pouch – It’s always a little weird to see pouches designed for adults, since I’ve always gotten them for my babies/toddlers/kids. This one is made with organic fruits, veggies, and other natural ingredients including banana puree, coconut milk, milled chia seed, and passion flower.

Dang Toasted Coconut Chips in Salted Cacao – I’ve had these coconut chips many times, but I’ve never gotten to try the salted cacao flavor. Sounds good!

Raw Rev Glo Creamy Peanut Butter & Sea Salt Bar – A raw superfoods bar packed with organic and raw plant-based ingredients. I’ve gotten these in a TON of subscription boxes, but they’re vegan & tasty, so whatever.

Backattack Snacks Sweet Stinger Almonds – Oven-roasted almonds flavored with cayenne pepper and local clover honey. A sweet & spicy treat.

Nutryvitta Banana Bar – A 100% natural fruit bar made with real bananas, cinnamon, and a coating of sugar. My 4-year-olds loved this!

Raw Rev 100 Chocolate Coconut Bliss Bar – These small 100-calorie organic food bars are full of healthy ingredients and plant-based protein. They’re not the tastiest bars I’ve eaten, but not awful either.

AlphaMind Vitamin Coffee – This light roast coffee is electrolyte-enhanced and packed with potassium, B-vitamins, and other essential minerals to help replenish key electrolytes lost during activity. It’s also made with premium single estate coffee beans.

Kracklin’ Kamut – This little packet contains organic Kamut grains which have been roasted and lightly salted. They can be sprinkled on salads, veggies, fruit, or just eat ’em straight from the bag. I’ve had them before and they make for a nice little snack when you’re craving something salty.

Rawxies Chocolate Brownie – A wholesome cookie bar that’s 100% natural, vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free. I’ve enjoyed a couple of their other flavors and had high hopes for this one, but it just wasn’t “chocolate brownie” enough for me.

Dark Dog Organic Energy Drink – The first coconut water based energy drink made with certified organic ingredients including yerba mate extract, coconut flower sugar syrup, and B vitamins.

Smarty Pants Women’s Complete Gummy Vitamins – I know a lot of people like these vitamins, but since they’re not vegan-friendly, I’m not a fan.

Miracle Tree Strawberry Moringa Organic Tea – An organic tea made with dried moringa leaves for a healthy boost of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

Another Fit Snack packed with bonus items! My favorite items this time were the Dang coconut chips, the vegan protein powder, and the banana bar (for my kiddos). — If you’d like to try it out for yourself, they’ve kindly given me a special discount to share with my readers. If you join Fit Snack using my link, you’ll save $3 on your first box!
