Let’s see what’s in the August 2016 Magickal Folk Crystals & Oils box!

Everything was shipped in a small white box via first class mail.

A peek inside! — The Crystals & Oils box contains 1-4 stones plus corresponding oil based on the monthly themed energy and daily emails that include mindful meditations, affirmations, magickal correspondences, tips, and more.

A small card was enclosed that featured contact information on one side, and an explanation of the raven’s appearance in many of the boxes (he’s the bringer of magic!).

Intuition Exercise – A 2-sided card featured an intuition exercise to complete using the crystals included in this month’s box. It involved holding the crystal in your hands or placing it on your third eye for 10 to 20 minutes as you follow the breathing and visualization techniques printed on the card. Once complete, you were to write down your observations and intuitive feelings on the reverse side. Next, you look up what was written about your crystals on the url provided on the card and write this down as well.

The crystals and oil were individually wrapped in pretty paper bags.

August’s Crystal – The featured crystal for August was Labradorite — a stone of magick, wisdom, inspiration, and self discovery. Included were both a rough/unpolished stone, as well as a smooth/shiny version. You can’t see it in the photo (I didn’t notice it until much later), but the unpolished stone has a smooth clear streak through the center which reflects light and makes it appear that a rainbow is running through it. Neat!

Hello Universe Magickal Spirit Oil – This oil was specially blended to use with the labradorite stones. It contains essential oils of amyris, elemi, mandarin orange, sweet orange, fresh ginger, and grapefruit (which smells amazing!). Use it anytime you feel you are closed, sluggish, or imbalanced. It’s also helpful in meditation and spiritual travel to open, balance, align and anchor all chakras.

Magickal Folk is an great subscription box for anyone looking to “awaken their goddess within and explore that undeniable connection with the moon and magick”.
