Microsoft has finally released Internet Explorer 11 stable version for Windows 7. Internet Explorer 11 comes pre-installed in Windows 8.1 while Windows 8 users will be able to upgrade to Windows 8.1 through Windows Update to get IE11.
Windows 7 users who are running Internet Explorer 11 Developer Preview or Internet Explorer 11 Release Preview will get Internet Explorer 11 through Windows Update in the coming weeks. The latest JavaScript performance tests indicate that there were not many differences in the Release Preview and the Final versions.

When installing Internet Explorer 11, you need to take special care of the checkboxes because the installer will ask you to make Bing as your default search engine and MSN as your default homepage. If you don’t want to set your search engine and homepage, you may uncheck these options during the installation. You can change these options even after installation.
