It was my honor to be invited to this year's Watson's Day Out and I attended it with loads of excitement.

There were various brands sharing about their latest products backed by scientific research, to ensure that better health, and healthier Skin and hair are always within the reach of consumers, and I had a good time understanding the benefits and efficacy of most of the products.

Byphasse offers high quality products at affordable prices by working on a volume-oriented strategy and careful research of operating costs. Byphasse offers products for hair, face, body, hands, feet and baby.

Key introduction in this event is the Byphasse Shower Cream range that comes in easy-to-use pump bottles available in 1L and 2L options. Byphasse shower creams are tolerance tested under dermatological control and contains a pH-neutral formula of 5.5 to avoid irritating the skin.

One of the key introductions by Revlon is the Revlon ColorStay Makeup.

This makeup is known for delivering flawless, all-day coverage to match every skin tone and type, and now it comes with a new pump packaging for an easier, mess-free application. With SPF 15 protection and revolutionary time release technology, this liquid foundation ensures that skin remains at its best for 24 hours. Next on their list is the Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer.

This product features a perfectly-paired cream makeup with a complementing cream concealer (expertly matched to be one shade lighter than the makeup). The lightweight makeup is said to provide all-day coverage with its sweat-resistant formula, and it gives a smooth finish and a polished look. The packaging includes a mirror and a Revlon applicator for precision and blending. It is available in 4 shades - Ivory, Sand Beige, Medium Beige and Natural Tan.

Present in more than 120 countries and 50 products sold every second worldwide, L'Oreal Paris offers products of all types from the excellence of its Research Laboratories.

One of the key products introduced is the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler (HA) Micro Volumizing Essence.

L'Oreal Paris introduced their first anti-aging skincare inspired by Filler procedure - Revitalift Filler (HA) to restore facial volume for a youthful look. This product contains 50x more Hyaluronic Acid concentration to replenish moisture, volumize the skin's surface layers and smoothen fine lines. The revolutionary airless dropper design keeps the ingredients fresh and dispenses the optimal amount with 3 pumps. 86% of users (assessment on 70 Asian women aged 30-49) agree that skin restores volume, feels smooth and bouncy in 4 weeks.

Next is the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler (HA) Revolumizing Cushion Cream.

This product uses high-tech cushion formula infused with a high dose of micrometric Hyaluronic Acid to deliver a non-greasy, non-sticky formulation to the skin. This product is said to continue to hydrate the skin for up to 48 hours per application to help lessen the depth of fine lines and wrinkles with daily use. To preserve the efficacy of the active ingredients, it is recommended to place the cream at the back of hands to avoid warming the cream.

 Using only naturally derived ingredients, Labo Labo focuses on consumers' skin's ability to preserve its beauty while eliminating elements that are harmful to the skin. The brand continues to innovate and research, and is now recognized as Japan's No. 1 cosmetics used by doctors.

The key product introduced is the Labo Labo Super Keana Washing. 

The Super Keana range has 5 products that focus specifically on multiple pore issues but the star product is the brand's Super-Keana Washing which is a soft creamy cleanser that helps to clear pores and brighten dark skin. This cleanser harnesses 100%-plant derived ingredients including artichoke leaf extract which is known  for its pore-refining properties. Sodium hyaluronate and water-soluble collagen is also present to hydrate skin, providing face with a moist and supple finish.

Japan's stringent quality standards in skincare in much reflected in DHC's carefully formulated beauty products and today, DHC is recognized as a leading provider of nutritional supplements.

This Virgin Coconut Oil Supplement (150 tabs, S$29.90) utilizes the medium chain fatty acid contained in coconut oil which is known for its easily digestible properties, making it suitable source for energy replenishment.
