In a stunning collapse, Kkr Bowl out RCB at just 49. Royal Challengers Bangalore were all out for 49, the lowest score in the history of IPL as Kolkata Knight Riders spanked them by 82 runsat the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Chasing the KKR’s low 131, the visitors were bundled out for 49, the lowest total in the Indian Premier League. The previous being was 58 by Rajasthan Royals against RCB in 2009.However, the hosts defended the total despite facing one of the biggest hitters in the game in the rival camp.

Australian paceman Nathan Coulter-Nile ripped apart the Bangalore top-order by dismissing skipper Virat Kohli (0), AB de Villiers (8) and Kedar Jadhav (9).

Pacemen Chris Woakes (3/6) and Colin de Grandhomme (3/4) also took three wickets each to bowl out RCB for 49 in just 9.4 overs.

RCB’s total of 49 is now the lowest in the history of IPL. This is the first time any team has been bowled out for less than 50. RCB’s total of 49 in a mere 9.4 overs is also the first double-digit total by any team in the ongoing IPL. It must be remembered that RCB had their previous lowest score of 82 against KKR in the first edition of IPL. This is also the 10th lowest score in history of all T20 cricket.
