Bill Granger, an internationally recognized Australian chef, passed away at the age of 54, as his family tragically announced on Instagram.

On Christmas Day, he passed away “peacefully” in the hospital with his family by his side.

According to the article, Bill was a devoted husband and father who passed away quietly in the hospital with his wife Natalie Elliott and their three daughters, Edie, Inès, and Bunny, by his side in their adopted Londona.
“He will be greatly missed by all, but his beloved family, who are appreciative of all the love and support they have received, will feel his loss the most.”

Granger, an Australian native who learned how to cook on her own, went on to become a well-known international restaurateur and food writer over the course of a more than 30-year career.

Granger and his spouse, Natalie, established a business partnership in 1999 that propelled the company’s global expansion. Together, they created a prosperous company that now has 19 restaurants in Seoul, Greater Tokyo, Osaka, Sydney, London, and Fukuoka.
Bill has written fourteen cookbooks, produced five television shows, and most recently, in January 2023, he received the Medal of the Order of Australia.

He will be known as the “King of Breakfast,” elevating simple meals to a unique level and contributing to the global expansion of Australian casual and group dining.
