Lily Smith Accident, an 18-year-old who had just graduated from Bardstown, Kentucky’s Thomas Nelson High School, perished in a terrible vehicle accident in January of 2024.

She was born to John and Amy Smith in Bardstown, Kentucky. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, the Drama Club, and the Cheerleading Squad when she graduated with honors from Thomas Nelson High School.

After receiving an acceptance, she intended to pursue a nursing degree at the University of Kentucky. She was also an enthusiastic volunteer in the choir and youth ministry at St. Thomas Church, where she was a devout member.

Lily Smith was a lovely and intelligent young lady who loved people and had a passion for life.

She was well-known for her contagious laugh, her steadfast kindness, and her exceptional academic performance. She enjoyed writing, dancing, singing, and reading.

She was a devoted girlfriend, friend, sister, and daughter as well.

Her parents, brother Jake Smith, boyfriend Ryan Jones, and numerous other family members and friends survive her.

Her grandparents, James and Sarah Jones, as well as Robert and Mary Smith, predeceased her.
