On January 30, 2024, Sharri Porcelli, a 48-year-old library assistant at Blue Creek Elementary School in Latham, New York, passed away.

She left behind a kind and selfless legacy. Susan and Frank Porcelli welcomed her into the world in Albany, New York. After completing her studies at Colonie Central High School, she went to Hudson Valley Community College. In 2016, she started working for the North Colonie Central School District, first at Blue Creek Elementary School as a library assistant.

Sharri Porcelli was a loyal and considerate library assistant who catered to the requirements of both staff and students.

She was also a kind and outgoing individual who gave hugs and smiles to everyone. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and reading. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, friend, and daughter.

Her parents, her brother Frank Porcelli Jr., her two children, Michael and Sarah, her husband of twenty-five years, John Porcelli, and numerous other family members and friends survive her. Her grandparents, John and Helen Smith, as well as Frank and Mary Porcelli, passed away before her.

Sharri Porcelli’s pleasure, kindness, and giving will live on in her memory.

Her kindness and knowledge had a profound impact on a great number of people. All who knew her will miss her terribly.
