Michael Gary Tveit of Warroad, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on July 21, 2023. He was 38.

Michael was born on September 18, 1984, in Roseau, Minnesota. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and valued time at the cabin with his dad, sons, nephews, brothers-in-law and his beloved dogs Tuuk and Warrior, his obituary said.

He will be remembered for his warm presence, infectious laugh, and megawatt smile could light up any room. He was a man of integrity and humility, which made him a natural leader. Michael served as the Warroad Boys’ Varsity Hockey Coach.
