Steve Fellows Obituary-Death News; Audlem Fire Station Crew Manager, Steve Fellows Passes Away 

Steve Fellows, the crew manager of the Audlem Fire Station, sadly passed away. After a protracted illness, he passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, surrounded by his cherished family, who will always mourn and treasure him.

Through a Facebook post stating, “It is with deep sadness that we fly our flags at half mast, as mark of respect for our much-loved colleague Steve Fellows who passed away on Friday evening following a brief illness,” Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed his death on Monday.

Steve joined the Audlem Fire Station Crew in June 2003 and is now an on-call firefighter. July 2012 saw him promoted to crew manager after his devotion and hard work were acknowledged.

He received the 20-year Long Service and Good Conduct medal earlier this month, which is recognition for his steadfast service. Steve demonstrated exceptional firefighting skills during his employment, winning the respect and admiration of his peers. His unwavering support and active participation in the community demonstrated his enthusiasm for helping the locals.

His reputation as a superb firefighter and a well-liked member of the community lives on in Audlem and beyond. More than just a guy in a uniform, Steve Fellows was a seasoned firefighter with a stellar career spanning more than 20 years.

He embodied courage, compassion, and unrelenting determination. He has worked as a firefighter for more than twenty years. The icy exterior conceals a warm heart that is attuned to the needs of those he assists and the community he works in.
