Glendale Murder-Suicide: Queens Couple Identified as bodies found in apparent murder-suicide off Cooper Avenue.

According to authorities, two persons were discovered shot dead in Queens on Saturday morning in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

According to law enforcement officials, the deaths happened at a house on the 7300 block of 69th Place, off of Cooper Avenue, in Glendale, on October 21 at around 2:44 a.m.

Following their summons to the area to look into shots fired, officers from the 104th Precinct uncovered the grisly discovery inside the living room of a second-floor apartment. Two people, ages 39 and 33, were found by the police with gunshot wounds to their heads. Officers discovered a gun near to the man involved.

According to people familiar with the case, preliminary findings indicate that the man and woman were likely in a close relationship. The man shot the woman, according to police suspicions, and then turned the gun on himself.

Upon arrival, emergency medical services declared both individuals deceased. In order to avoid upsetting their families, the NYPD has obscured their identities.
