Bailey will be remembered as an amazing woman that will be sorely missed by many.

An online obituary on Saturday, October 21, 2023, announced the death of Bailey Owen, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident in July.

“My beautiful, full of life, stubborn baby sister is finally at peace. After months of fighting harder than anyone ever expected her to she can finally rest. She is the bravest, and strongest woman I know. We cannot even put in to words what her loss means to us. We would like to say thank you to everyone of you who have kept her and us in your thoughts and prayers. Her fight and your prayers are what carried her this far. We cannot thank you all enough,” Will Owen wrote in a social media post.

Bailey was a freshman Volleyball Coach at Martha Layne Collins High School.
