Tommy Moody Obituary-Death News; A Baseball Player And Radio Host From South Carolina Has Passed Away

Earlier on Tuesday night, colleague radio presenter Jay Phillips announced the passing of South Carolina baseball colour analyst Tommy Moody on social media.

Since 2000, Moody has provided colour for Gamecocks baseball.

Phillips posted on Twitter, “I am heartbroken to hear of the demise of my close buddy Tommy Moody. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, and coworker. Although he had a great deal of affection for Carolina, his love for his family was far deeper. Tommy, you are loved. We appreciate your presence in our lives.

Moody has a number of different responsibilities on the radio in addition to serving as the colour analyst for South Carolina Baseball.

He was the host of the programme “The Tommy Moody Show,” which he dubbed “a trip down memory lane every week.” At 6 p.m. ET on Monday and 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, the programme aired.

Early in the 1970s, Moody played baseball at South Carolina on a scholarship; he graduated with a degree in marketing in 1975. He worked for General Mills in Charleston and Columbia for 28 years.
