Loy Burnett Obituary – Death: 77-Year-Old Wichita Man, Loy Burnett Died at Wichita Jeeps Motorcycle Club

Loy Burnett Accident: Valley Centre, a tragic incident unfolded last week as Loy Burnett, a 77-year-old resident of Wichita, lost his life in a motorcycle accident. The unfortunate incident occurred on Friday afternoon at the Wichita Jeeps Motorcycle Club.

According to authorities, Loy Burnett had embarked on a solo off-road motorcycle ride that fateful day. Concerned about his prolonged absence, his family initiated a search, eventually locating him at the motorcycle track. Swiftly, they administered CPR while awaiting the arrival of emergency medical services. Regrettably, despite their efforts, Loy Burnett was declared deceased at the scene.

The precise cause of his death remains shrouded in uncertainty, as investigators are yet to determine whether a medical condition played a role or if the injuries sustained in the accident were the primary cause. To unravel this mystery, an autopsy is currently pending, shedding light on the tragic circumstances that led to Loy Burnett’s untimely passing.

Capt. Hobert Capps said the man was riding an off-road motorcycle alone on a trail. When he didn’t come back, his family went looking for him and found him not breathing.

Fire and EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced the man dead. Capps said it’s unknown if the man died from a medical event or if he had an accident.

The coroner’s office has been called out to the scene to make that determination.
