John Martin III Obituary – Motorcycle Accident: 26-year-old Columbia, MO man dies after solo crash on Rock Quarry Road.

On Saturday night, a Columbia man was killed after the Columbia Police Department were called to the scene of a single motorbike traffic collision at Rock Quarry Road and Riback Road.

Police said the driver, John Martin, 26, of Columbia, died as a result of his wounds after being taken to a nearby hospital by EMS.

According to reports, Martin was travelling south on Rock Quarry Road near Riback Road when he veered off the road and collided with a fence. He wasn’t wearing a helmet, according to police.

In order to protect themselves and other people, CPD requests that community members take every precaution and drive cautiously while the investigation is ongoing.
