Eric Hatke Obituary Atlantic City, NJ: Hopewell Township Zoning Board Chair, Eric Hatke Dies at 58.

The general Mercer County community are mourning the death of Hopewell Township Zoning Board Chair, Eric Hatke.

Eric Hatke passed away at the age of 58 on Saturday, September 2, 2023, in Atlantic City, NJ.

Eric was born on May 23, 1965 in Princeton, NJ, to Fred and Judith Hatke. He graduated from Princeton Day School in 1983 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Lafayette College in 1987. Eric began his life long career with the US Navy as a Mechanical Engineer and he continued on to become a Chief Mechanical Design Engineer.

His diligent work on the Zoning Board and care for the Township exemplified his heart and dedication to its residents. Eric is survived by his spouse and daughter Theresa and Emilianne Hatke of Pennington, NJ, his mother, his brother and sister in law, his sister in law and brother in law, his niece and nephew, his nieces, friends and cousins.

Eric is preceded in death by his son Ethan Hatke and his father Fred Hatke.
