She was born in 1982, the daughter of an officer of the Pakistan Army in East Ahmedpur.

She holds a Master of Arts in English from the National University of Modern Languages ​​and a Master of Philosophy from Quaid-i-Azam University, which she graduated in 2015. She joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 1997 at the age of 15. She also ran in the 2018 Senate election as a PTI candidate.

She was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan in the 2018 Pakistani general election as the PTI’s candidate in a reserved seat for Punjab women.

On 7 September 2018, she was appointed Parliamentary Secretary of State for Planning, Development and Reform.

In September 2020, a citizen of Islamabad’s F-11/2 district applied to the Islamabad Magistrates’ Court to file criminal charges against Shauzab. The petition alleges that Shauzab used the Capital Development Authority to green and clean the area around Shauzab’s newly purchased house. On September 30, 2020, she entered private property to torture a 67-year-old neighbor.

Additional session judge Syed Faizan Haider approved the petition on 19 January 2021 and ordered the relevant police FIR to be registered with the PTI Member National Assembly (MNA) in accordance with the law. On May 18, 2021, Shauzub expressed her support for the Palestinian cause, saying: “Hitler said he would spare some Jews and let the world know why he killed them.”
