Misu – Ramen Food Festival

Are you look to try authentic Asian flavors, then head out to Misu. This Pan Asian Restaurant is located in Saint Marks Road very close to Truffles. The restaurant is of decent size and really lights up during the day with its colorful glass work. We visited the place to try from their Ramen Food Festival all through August and September. The Ramen is prepared in different styles be it Japanese or Chinese. Read my last review of Misu here.
There cocktails are inspired from exotic Asian condiments. We tried their Kampai Cheers which is made with Lychee and lime decorated with a Thai Chili. The taste was subtle and refreshing. If your at Misu than don’t forget to try their Bandrek. This traditional Indonesian home drink is said to cure common problems. We even had the Raw Mango Salad and the Som Tum Salad. These Asian salads are excellent here, while the Mango one was spicy, the Papaya one was refreshing. Just amazing preparation!

It was not time to taste the Ramen. The first one we had was the Wai Wai Ramen. Yes, if you love Wai Wai this experience will take you to the next level. Wai Wai is prepared in a soup and spicy form with inspiration from Nepal. It was delicious! The Vegan Ramen had soup made from light soy with loads of vegetables on top. Next, we had the Spicy Yaki Soba Noodles. These are wok fried Japanese style Buckwheat noodles with spiced butter, garlic, soy, shitake mushrooms and Chinese greens herbs. Slurpy but great.

Misu is known for its desserts, don’t miss them. The best among all was the Japanese Souffle Cheesecake. A soft fluffy souffle styled baked cheesecake that will blow your minds off. The Singapore Style Icecream Sandwich comes with Green Tea and Lemongrass icecream in between. The Matcha Green Tea Garden is a Chocolate flower vase filled with Matcha green tea mousse and served with lemongrass icecream. Lastly, the Imitation of Coconut with cranberry cryo form is a coconut mousse coasted with chocolate and chocolate crumble. It was just like a coconut with all its elements. The Thai Sticky Black Rice with coconut cream is a subtle dessert that is not too sweet. Organic gluten free black rice is served with coconut cream and fresh coconut milk.

Misu is really an amazing place with delicious Asian food and desserts that cannot be missed at any cost.
